President's Letter 2003

Toast to Fran Powell's 100th Birthday

 October 2009

IN THEIR OWN WORDS...

Read about our contributions to Kenilworth: Excerpts from President's Letters 2000-2008

"If you have not been by the Maclean Avenue Triangle lately, please visit it! Lois Colberg and Wilma Kline spent hours on it this spring and summer. Their hard work has paid off in a beautiful way. Thanks so much from all of us."

- Sondra Hannafan, Summer 2001

"While the days are still long, I encourage you to take a leisurely stroll along the paths at Mahoney Park, and on your next outing, head west from Brier Street up to Maclean Avenue to the outstretched arms of the triangle at Ridge.

You will be delighted by what you see, thanks to the efforts of our garden club members, particularly Lois Colberg, Wilma Kline and Valerie Foradas.

 - Liz Thomas, July 2004

"Another brief bit of news I'd like to share is that our club was given $500 by the Storch Fund to assist us with the Maclean Triangle as we need to replace plants which were destroyed by the hostile winter conditions last year."

- Carol Hyatt, July 2007
